Take A Look At The Xeric Halograph II Automatic Watch

Back in 2013, the brothers at Watchismo founded Xeric Watches with the goal of bringing unusual and affordable mechanical watch designs to the world. Since then the team at Xeric has released nine different models that step outside of conventional design. Their newest collection, the Xeric Halograph II Automatic Watch, improves upon the original while remaining true to Xeric’s core mission of creating unusual timepieces. Xeric understands that their watch designs are not for everyone and have always strived to make unique concepts that stand out from the generic watches that flood the Kickstarter market.

Every component of the Halograph was redesigned and upgraded while offering it at a more competitive price than the original. The Halograph II now features premium Horween leather straps with quick release springbars, a Miyota 82S7 movement, sapphire crystal, Tritec Super-LumiNova displays, and a complete redesign of the case and dial.
The Halograph II Automatic features Xeric’s innovative signature display and halo hands which float over the arcs to encircle the time. The inner arcs display the hours and the outer arcs display the minutes. The time can easily be read through the two halo hands. As the halo reaches the end of its track, a new halo appears on the opposite side, similar to a retrograde display.

Two secondary displays were integrated into the movement grille. The day/night window on the left displays your current position relative to the sun. The window on the right is a running second display. These features are printed on transparent discs for an unobstructed view of the large open balance wheel.

Select models of the Halograph II Automatic use Tritec Super-LumiNova to light up the halo hands, hour/minute tracks, AM/PM indicator, and running seconds.

The fully integrated lugs give the Halograph II a modern and clean update from the original. The lugless design tucks the strap to be flush with the caseback, giving the watch a more streamlined fit on the wrist. The straps also feature a built-in, quick release springbar system allowing you to swap out different straps for every occasion.
