Detailed Review With The Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Men's Watch

Swiss Tudor has been riding the heritage/vintage reissue train for nearly a decade. With the release of the Heritage Chronograph in 2010, and then two years later with the original (ETA-Powered) Black Bay, we saw a dramatic rebirth of a brand that for a long time had lived in big-brother-Rolex’s shadow. Since that time Tudor has focused a lot of energy on developing the Black Bay line; some might say to the deficit of other models in its catalog. But there can be no arguing that they have become fixtures in the modern luxury watch landscape.

Hands-On With Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Grande Date 5050 Watch

Blancpain‘s Fifty Fathoms family of high-end dive watches has been one of my favorite luxury sport watch collections for a while. At Baselworld 2018 Blancpain introduced a few new models in the Fifty Fathoms collection including my favorite, which is this Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Automatique Grande Date 5050 Watch. Let’s compare the Fifty Fathoms 5050 with the still rather popular Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 5015, which I reviewed on aBlogtoWatch here. The 5050 is a newer model with an updated movement and different case materials.

With the end of one Olympic Games comes the merchandising deluge for the next and, still with two years to go, Olympic Official Timekeeper Swiss Omega has already started the “countdown.” My guess, however, is that these Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional “Tokyo 2020” Watch Limited Editions will be some of the nicest watches associated with the upcoming 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. A total of five variants reference the five rings of the Olympic logo with the colors of their bezels and other highlights.

Almost ten years ago, Swiss Bell & Ross launched its first BR 01 Skull and made a lasting impression by breaking with traditional watchmaking codes. The Bell & Ross Skull family has since become an iconic collection and welcomes this year, a new version of this cool outstanding concept.
